Logs are my short-form posts, sort of like the items I may share on X or Facebook. I post things I find interesting, or random thoughts. Nothing here is meant to be insightful for anyone else. Many of the items I post, may be things that I’m learning at a beginner level or not well thought out. It’s also a practice ground for developing a direction.

I’m excited to see the release of the Essay Architecture book from the work of Michael Dean. As he says, there are no other works that teach you to write. This could be an important book to a lot of people. Knowing how to write well will become more important even as AI may do much of your writing. Writing is a process of structuring your thoughts. AI can’t think for you, and therefore can’t write for you. It must be a collaborative process, or you’ll never develop the ability to do either. Instead, you’ll turn into a bot.
